Mid century design desk for home office anyone?
This fab mid century desk in teak veneer from the mid sixties is from Denmark. We have revived the piece with a new coat of hard oil. Some discolouration due to the underlay on the top of the desk doesn't distract too much actually. Nice raised edge prevent papers and pens to fall. It does remind of an Arne Vodder desk but it is not. Two three drawer blocks on the front and two compartments on the back that can be closed with a drop down. Special twist is the left back side which is fully finished on the inside as bar section. On the right one small shelf is missing inside the cabinet. The legs of the desk are of solid teak and nicely cut.
Teak vintage desk
This desk has aged for over 50 years and has some discolourations and scuff marks. Also the drawer are used in those 50 years and have some wear. Overall however the desk is in a good vintage condition with the reoiled top
